What is a word processor
A word processor is a piece of software designed for creating documents; letters, memos, etc. Examples that everyone knows are Microsoft Word and OpenOffice Writer. Most people use a word processor for common office tasks, or for taking notes or creating other basic documents.
Today’s word processors are advanced
Word and OpenOffice have become very advanced, with more layout and design options than you can shake a stick at. For this reason, some people use them to do things like design pamphlets or flyers, or even for presentations. Professionals, however, who create these types of advanced documents for a living, would never dream of using Word or OpenOffice- they just weren’t made for it.
Using Word for labeling???
Even more absurd is the concept of using Microsoft Word or OpenOffice to create a label. Why? Because word processors simply don’t have any of the tools you need to make labeling easy and fast.
